Does square POS support text inserter to camera solution? Whenever the transaction happens, I want a feature to insert the text to camera by adding any device if supported.

@user_ss I think you are looking to do a security camera overlay that matches the transaction with the video feed. This is an interesting use application, but you would have to have something that works with ipads/tablets. I think the problem will be there are so many use cases that it would be hard to fit every one of those in an easy to use format.

With team management you can really restrict what cashiers can do on the register even to removing items from checks etc. There is detailed reporting for refunds/voids/comps and even remote printing. Also, every transaction is time stamped and could be matched up pretty easily to camera footage if you sync your time regularly. Android vs. iOS would be a major consideration as to how it would work for you. I don't think a text inserter is available readily, but there might be some sort of work around. I would tend to invest in a better security camera and have it aimed at the screen to see the cashier actions without the overlay blocking any of the screen. And the overlays are generally limited to one camera only.

You can view the transaction data side-by-side with the video, you can also recall all no sales and return sales to see exactly what happened with every transaction. Hi Donnie,

We just released our app on the Square Marketplace that correlates your Square transaction data with a video stream for that transaction. You can easily navigate to the previous or next video clip or another transaction. The app is called VideoRegister and is completely cloud-based. The only equipment is a security camera connected to the store's WiFi network.

@Tom_H That is awesome. And, I don't see anyone else offering that in the marketplace. This is definitely the way to go if you really want to monitor cashiers for chicanery.
