Multiple Discounts in Square for Retail

We use Square for Retail POS and would like to apply different discounts to different items within a single transaction. Is that possible? Seems like only one discount can be applied. Thanks!

Hi @LSG-GSF. I must be misunderstanding your question. I just fired up Retail and was able to add two discounts at the check level, and two discounts to one item, no problem. I just kept adding discounts. Are you getting an error message when you try to add a second discount? Is it just not adding it?

I’m assuming that you know that you CAN specify item-level discounts (which only apply to that item) and check-level discounts, which apply to every item.

Thanks, Chip —actually I didn’t realize we could specify item-level discounts. I just was able to do so on my phone and will try tomorrow on our Square Register. Really appreciate your response!
