and leaving my current website provider, for which I pay $20 a month. It seems reasonable but Weebly is my url domain source so since it's partnered with Square is supposedly free, I thought maybe it would be a better option. Are people here using the e-commerce page?

Hi Cherimoya,

We may need some clarifications -

Who is your current website provider ?

Is Weebly just hosting your URL or is Weebly also your website provider ?

(If you're using Weebly for everything, you can migrate to Square via your Square Account Dashboard.)

Yes, Weebly was acquired by Square and yes, it can be a bit confusing for all as to how things are managed.

You can simply things but, it depends on your scenario - for example, we host our main site with another provider and our Domain name is also managed via another source that works in tandem with our website host - bottom line it's basically seamless. We then setup our "Free" online site with Square for shopping. (We also use Square in our brick and mortar shop for processing CC Transactions.) You can go to our site, learn about us and more and then go shopping on our Square site. The link between the two are basically seamless from the customer's perspective.

Where things get complicated is if you are hosted with someone else and you want everything to go through Square - it's not a problem but, you may want to have your Domain Name transferred to Square - then you also need to decide what Square Options you desire as there are additional fees depending on the options you pick. Sorry, I'm not a Techie here so perhaps others may be able to explain better.
