Pathward Gift Card declined

We had a customer try to purchase using her employer provided, wellness based gift card. The employer is LuLuLemon. The card is issued through Pathward N. A. (formerly known as Metabank N.A. ) out of Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The message they got was Square does not accept these cards. Is this accurate? Why wouldn't they be accepted? Anyone else have this problem? Is there a workaround?

Hi @moonstoneandsag. Here’s the Square Help article outlining card types that are accepted. Of the card was one of those types and US-issued, you might need to contact the Customer Success Team using one of the methods at this link.
