Cash drawer with driver?

Hi. I see lots of cash drawers for sale on Amazon for less than $100 that claim they can work with square stand with a driver added. Has anyone tried this and if so which driver do I need? Thanks

For background I’ve been using square with a cash box and iPad. I would have to purchase a stand to get started. Just looking for cheaper options.

@Skipper123I'm not sure about drivers, but if you get a "USB" cash drawer, it has a cable that connects to a receipt printer. And the printer runs, or drives, the operation of the cash drawer opening and closing after a sale. Note, the receipt printer must be turned on for the cash drawer to open/close automatically with a sale.
