Are Apple products not going to be compatible with square coming June 2024??

There has been a rumor that we will be required to use Square terminals come June 2024. Apple Ipads will no longer be able to be used or compatible? is this fact or fiction? My servers use Ipads to take orders and cash people out at the table using the Square for Restaurants app on the Ipad and if this is accurate I need to know ASAP before our busy season begins in June.

That's a new one - I'm sure other Community Members would love to know where you heard that rumor. (Hopefully, it's just that - a rumor.)

A huge thank you goes t o @Lovewell for clearing that up - the link you provided was much more specific as the original post in this thread was a bit general and concerning. This link should also help clarify what is going on with Square KDS and hopefully will help others who use this product. I'm just a Square POS user and there are many of us.
