      <description>&lt;P&gt;your terminal won't charge as in not take power when you plug it into the USB-C plug, or won't charge a customer's credit card?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;usually, the only times you see a double charge is when one is temporary after a failed attempt from a decline from no funds or a fraud warning from their credit card company and then you run it again. The temporary hold falls off in 3-7 days just like a hold at a gas station pump.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P style="margin: 0;"&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;As mentioned, if a payment is cancelled, interrupted, or declined, your customer may see a &lt;A href="https://squareup.com/help/us/en/article/5082-why-did-my-payment-fail#pending-charge" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;pending charge&lt;/A&gt; on their card statement. It might look as if they were charged, but it will fall off their statement within a few business days.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P style="margin: 0;"&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If the payment does not show up in your Transactions in the Square app, but does appear on your customer’s statement, this is a sign that your customer is seeing a pending transaction and not an actual charge. You can check for voided payments from your online &lt;A href="https://squareup.com/dashboard/sales/reports/transaction-status" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;Square Dashboard&lt;/A&gt;.&lt;/P&gt;
