Hey @dearness. I was just sure there would be a way to deactivate plastic gift card sales. But there is not. At this point this sounds like it would have to be a feature request. Head over to the Ideate Board and submit it to the Square Gift Cards team.

Having said that, even with the option enabled, team members will not be able to sell an actual physical gift card without scanning the magstrip on it. So there’s no danger of these getting inadvertently sold. But I understand not wanting it to even be an option. For now, there’s no way around it, though.
