Can you use Square scanner with Shopify POS

Hello! I have Shopify POS but I need to start using a scanner and wanted to also use Square for invoicing. Can you use both? Will inventory on Shopify sync with Square?

As I see this is your first Post let me welcome you to the Square users forum.

I do not use Shopify POS as I use Square POS. My Scanner that I have are able to be used with Square and other POS systems. Depending on your Hardware Model and Brand my determine if you can use it for both Systems. I use Zebra Scanners which can be programed to work with multiple POS systems so My Scanner can be used with other brands of POS, can yours??? There is an integration with Shopify with Square but you may need to talk to the Manufacturer of the integration or people that use it.

My suggestion is to add an Item to both Square and Shopify POS and use your scanner to test if it works with both systems. I have used a can of soda already to test these types of problems.
