How do I add a "buyers fee" which is a standard of practice in auction sales to each purchase? It is typically between 10-15% of the total sale (not including tax). Note that there are some sales that are NOT auction based, so can't have it happen to every sale. Looking to find out how to add a "button" for "add buyers fee of 10%". Same deal for use of CC. Would assume this could be added to ALL transactions as that would be the only reason I am running it through square. If that makes sense. I am BRAND NEW to this so trying to figure stuff out. One curious question - if a customer uses a Credit Card and the item qualifies for the Buyer's Fee is your thought to charge for both the Buyer's Fee and the Credit Card Fee - I'm not sure Square's standard features have that logic ? You may need the help of a Developer. One area that can be a bit gray is surcharging or having the customer pay your credit card fees - it appears that Square has some Beta Testing going on with this - not sure what the status is - perhaps someone else here has some updated info they can share and some additional thoughts what you have in mind.
