Variations missing from inventory item

I have an item with many variations and when I enter the new variations into the system, it saves them, and then when I go back to the item all of the new variations of the item have disappeared. What is going on??

I’ve done it on the desktop and on the POS and they continue to disappear.

I have had terrible issues with Square. I update stock numbers and it shows out of stock a few days later. My employees count and recount constantly to try and fix what Square messes up with our inventory counts.

With this latest issue, the variations just disappear. Item is called Mariposa Melamine Platter.
