Syncing square POS with WooCommerce. Will archive items sync, I don't want them too.

I'm syncing square with woocommerce. Square does not have a way to bulk delete old products. I have archived them all and do not want them to transfer to woocommerce. Do I have to delete them? Or will syncing the two only sync active items?

The sync is controlled by WooCommerce so I recommend reaching out to their support team, or even their Community page to confirm. I do not have first-hand experience with WooCommerce, unfortunately.
