I just started using on demand delivery through square. I noticed the "fees" went up dramatically which is to be expected since I am being charged $1.50 per delivery. I wanted to know though, are the delivery drives tips also included in those fees? Like, when I go into my reports and look at my "tips" for the week, the delivery driver tips aren't in there correct?

That was one of my questions when we signed up and was told the feature wasn't available. What we have found and and now like, the calls will appear in the Notifications at the bottom of the POS. From there we can message them right back through text message. If it is something we need to talk to the about we will send a message stating we will give them a call.

Because 100% of the tip amount provided by the customer at checkout is passed to the courier, tips for orders placed through On-Demand Delivery shouldn’t appear in your Reports.

Square does charge a $1.50 dispatch fee to your business for orders placed through On-Demand Delivery. The fees for each courier are below:

Uber/Postmates	DoorDash
All states except California: $4.20 + $0.75/km rate fee (Uber/Postmates measures in km)	All states except California: $6.99 fixed fee for up to 5 mile radius, then +$1 per additional mile up to 10 miles. Note: +$1/mile extension not applicable in Manhatten, NY; $6.99 max
California only: $4.50 + $0.95/km rate fee (Uber/Postmates measures in km)	California only: $8.99 fixed fee for up to 5 mile radius, then +$1 per additional mile up to 10 miles

Please note: You’ll still be charged a processing fee of 2.9% + 30¢ per transaction for Square Online purchases (2.6% + 30¢ per transaction if on the Premium plan).
