custom report not showing sku and

I am trying to create a report with payment type, category, net sales, sales tax and sku at a minimum. I have checked the columns for all listed but the sales tax and sku do not come out on the export? Missing something?

In the Custom Report builder you have to Edit the columns in the Upper Right corner. You will then get a Drop down of Columns to choose from. The ones in Blue show on the the report and the ones unchecked as circled do not show on the report.

The boxes were checked yet they did not come through the download.

Oh, On the Custom Report Page make sure you create a New Custom report, If you just go to the Custom Report page and just change the Check Boxes and then download you will not see a difference. You need to create the custom report with the boxes checked then save it then download the report.

Ok I just did this and you need to change the date and Create a New Report, this updates the date and other fields too. Then you need to save it and download it again.

So I went to custom report

Opened my report

Changed the Date

Added the fields I wanted Then Created the Report

This part had me confused because you need to create it after changes are made.

After it is created then you can Download it.

I usually download my Transactions Details and my Transaction Items, the download process is easier for me.

Hey! I'm having the exact same issue, and have tried pretty much every combination of date changing, making a new report, saving report, editing report, etc. you can imagine to try and make this work and all it's succeeded in doing is making me want to pull my hair out hahaha

Anyone have any other tips or tricks for me? I just need a custom report that shows total sales, SKU's, and taxes 😢
