I would like to see a breakdown of transactions, such as:

Total transactions

Total retail only

Total service only

Total service + retail

I tried separating these out and it's impossible unless I'm looking in the wrong place?

Thanks!

@Rockerchic ;

I only have 1 type of transaction with Square which I think would be retail only. So help me out here. What reports were you looking at and what were the titles of the fields you need named. I download alot of the Transactions csv files which there are 3 of and I am wondering if 1 of them would give you what your looking for as a Spreadsheet that can be turned into a Pivot table to answer this. The other thing is maybe Square has a Report but only filters by one of your requests at a time. Meaning you can See retail Only, Service Only and then the Total Transactions. If you can see these reports in Square you should be able to create a Custom Report, Create one with retail results, add to that report one filtered for Service, and the add another custom report for Service and Retail.

When you create a custom Report in Square you can choose a report and filter as you like, then add another to the same report.

So if I create a Custom report of my Sales, I can also add a report to the bottom of say my sales of X category, Sales of Y category etc to one report that is actually 5 or 6 reports as one, and call it my Bookkeeper report and run it the end of each month.

You could also export things from your Transaction section on your computer.

I would goto your Square Dashboard on a computer > Transacations > Select the date range you like then export Transactions Detail csv. I think this might give you All your transactions as a csv but will also show in a column Service or Retail that you can use a pivot Table to quickly show what you want to see.
