      <description>&lt;P&gt;New to vendor world.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;1.&amp;nbsp; Do I need to be on WIFI in order to take a charge sale with Magstripe Square?&amp;nbsp; If not, how/when does the $ go to my account?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;2.&amp;nbsp; How give receipt to buyer?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I will do a $1 sale to my account to test it soon.&amp;nbsp; Thank you!&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello&amp;nbsp;&lt;a href="https://community.squareup.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/692197"&gt;@KeepMeInStitche&lt;/a&gt;. &amp;nbsp;Welcome to the Square Seller Community.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;First, you do not need WiFi, but it is recommended that you at least have a connection to the internet through at least your cell service. &amp;nbsp;However, if you do not even have that, Square will process transactions in offline mode. &amp;nbsp;Then when you connect to the internet those offline transactions will be processed. &amp;nbsp;A couple of important things to note about offline mode:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;OL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;You must connect to the internet within 24 hours, or transactions will automatically be rejected&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;You agree that you have no recourse if an offline transaction should ultimately be declined by the card processor. &amp;nbsp;Yes, if you have contact information, you can go back to the customer. &amp;nbsp;But Square has no responsibility for transactions you processed in offline mode.&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Funds for offline transactions will not be credited to your Square balance until after you connect to the internet and process those transactions. &amp;nbsp;That starts the normal deposit transfer clock on those transactions.&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/OL&gt;&lt;P&gt;Also, if you are no connected to the internet, then the only way to do receipts is to have a printer that connects to your phone in Bluetooth mode so that you can print receipts. &amp;nbsp;You won’t be able to email or text receipts, obviously.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
