What is the difference between Busines Name and Location Name and Location Nickname?

We had troubles getting our funds because Square could not correctly identify us.

Business name is what your called to Pay sales Tax and Income to the IRS.

Location name if you have more than one location you may call Main Street Location or Milford area etc. Instead of all of them as Judys_Bags so customers know where to pick up items.

Location:
The public-facing name of your business that appears on customer receipts and credit card statements. Example Judys Bags at Main St

The location nickname is for internal use and not shown to customers.

"Square Location Nickname" is a custom, internal name you can assign to that location for easier identification within your Square account, which is not displayed to customers on receipts or statements; essentially, the official business name is the "Location" and the nickname is for your own internal use
