How to Begin Using Barcodes

Hi, I am hoping for an updated answer- most of what I've seen is from 2016-2021.

I use square inventory for my retail business but never used sku labels/barcodes before. We are expanding and need to begin printing out a label with a barcode which aligns with the item in the inventory.

Most of you probably do this already. Can you tell me what software and printer and reader that you use.

I use 5 different Zebra 410 printers for my labels. I then use Zebras software on a computer where I print the labels. Copy paste the Square SKU or GTIN field to the Zebra software and other text information I would like. Alot of Square users use the 410 Zebra label printer with Square's software. If the item comes in with a Barcode you can use that and scan it into Square.

I also use Zebra ( Symbol Motorola ) scanners. Curently I use the curently using 2 DS6786 ? usb to cradle then Wireless from Cradle to Scanner models that can scan 2D barcodes, but was using the2 DS6707 USB to scanner models. I did not like the USB cable catching on items or getting in the way as we scanned items which is why we switched.
