    <description>&lt;P&gt;I recently imported customers to my Square account.&amp;nbsp; I have a user who I would like to be able to accept payments for me in the field.&amp;nbsp; When they go to add a customer to a sales receipt, the customer field is empty and entering the name in the search bar comes back "no customers found".&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;What settings do I need to change for them to connect a customer to a transaction?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;a href="https://community.squareup.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/713804"&gt;@Stetson8872&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;1. is the customer in your customer directory on the dashboard?&amp;nbsp; 2. if yes, do you have more than 1 location?&amp;nbsp; 3.&amp;nbsp; If yes, has the customer bought from you at that location?&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The reason I ask is that square customers are pulled usually from a profile after you do business with them.&amp;nbsp; The other thing to check is to make sure your employee has the permission to work with the customer directory.&amp;nbsp; Let me know if this helps, and I am assuming it works when you are not in the field.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
