&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;I'm using a square stand with a iPad and case drawer and never had an issues. But in the last week or so i have had so close the square app and reopen it to get it to take a credit card.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Any ideas what is causing this?&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello &lt;a href="https://community.squareup.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/184600"&gt;@Randykirkpatric&lt;/a&gt; !&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I can think of a couple things that may be going on here.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;-Make sure your app and iOS are fully updated to the latest versions. Missed updates have a tendency to cause random issues. Also, try turning off any auto locks on the screen.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;-Try signing out, force closing the app, then signing back in. That way the app phones home to get the latest information for your account.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;-In the upper right of the screen, do you see &lt;span class="lia-unicode-emoji" title=":heavy_check_mark:"&gt;✔️&lt;/span&gt;Stand or is it errored out (or not there at all) when you notice the swiper isn't working? If it's not checked, there may be a problem with the hardware itself. Give customer support a call: you&amp;nbsp;&lt;EM&gt;may&lt;/EM&gt; be eligible for a warranty replacement.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hope one of these solves your issue!&lt;/P&gt;</description>
