&lt;P&gt;That is frustrating that the &lt;A href="https://squareup.com/help/us/en/article/7786-get-started-with-tap-to-pay-on-iphone" target="_self"&gt;Tap to Pay feature&lt;/A&gt; suddenly stops working. I’m happy to help troubleshoot this with you.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;1. What device are you using?&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;2. Please double-check that your &lt;A href="https://squareup.com/us/en/compatibility" target="_self"&gt;device is compatible&lt;/A&gt;.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;3.&amp;nbsp;Try disabling Tap to Pay and then enabling it again.&lt;BR /&gt;4. What app version are you on?&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Let me know if you’re still running into issues after trying those steps.&lt;/P&gt;

      <title>Tap payments not working</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I’m reaching out regarding an ongoing issue with my Square NFC reader.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;A few weeks ago, I contacted support because the tap-to-pay feature stopped working and kept displaying “Present Card,” without completing the transaction. Square &amp;nbsp;kindly replaced the hardware, and the new reader worked for a short time.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;However, the same problem has returned: the reader accepts chip insertions, but does not process contactless payments (Apple Pay, tap cards, etc.). It simply displays “Present Card” and doesn’t register the tap.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;another thing the reader works when is ducked on the point of sale system but im trying to use it unducked&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I’ve already:&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;UL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Restarted and re-paired the reader&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Reinstalled the Square app&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Ensured the device is updated and fully charged&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Tried different customer cards and phones&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/UL&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;can anybody help me&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
