Spoof text from a Square business

Hello.

I just recieved a text from a Square business with a "reciept" that I supposedly purchased product. I've checked my bank and there is NO transaction for this company (phew !!)

The business is legitimate but I don't think they are either open or still in business. It was a reciept for $96 of product.

Do I report it ? To whom ? Square ? The Company involved ? or just let it go ?? Never got one from Square before.

So you could send that over to spoof@squareup.com. , but like you mentioned it looks like a legit receipt from the business. You could also use try and send the company an email with three receipt I took sa that they were temporarily closed, but maybe they just didn't update their Google listing and could have entered the phone number incorrectly.

maybe someone just entered information incorrectly? try to find their social media and reach out that way. you might get a faster response.
