Complant emails - are they phishing?

I have received 2 different emails from "Square" saying that a customer has complained. it says they paid over $2300 for product that was not delivered. This is false. No sales of mine are in this size category. Also, "Square" states that they will freeze my account and my deposits. Has anyone else had this happen?

I do not want to click through and get slammed.

I believe that there was another seller just a few days ago who had a very similar email from "square" as you described.. If you do not recognize the transactions amounts posted in the email and you believe that it is a fake, and there are no other notifications within your Square dashboard, I would assume it is a fake. You can also forward that email to spoof@squareup.com also.

I Have also had the same emails and yes it is a scam so dont go clicking on any links. I did send an email to square via there support reporting this but never heard anything back.
