&lt;P&gt;I am going to outline a comprehensive list of troubleshooting steps to try and see if we can keep the accessory hub from disconnecting.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P data-start="963" data-end="1020"&gt;Fully Restart the iPad (Not Just Sleep/Wake)&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;UL data-start="1021" data-end="1178"&gt;
&lt;LI data-start="1021" data-end="1112"&gt;
&lt;P data-start="1023" data-end="1112"&gt;Hold the power button (and volume button if needed) until the shutdown slider appears&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI data-start="1113" data-end="1138"&gt;
&lt;P data-start="1115" data-end="1138"&gt;Power it off completely&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI data-start="1139" data-end="1178"&gt;
&lt;P data-start="1141" data-end="1178"&gt;Wait 10 seconds, then turn it back on&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;/UL&gt;
&lt;P data-start="1180" data-end="1241"&gt;This resets any stuck hardware connections in the background.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P data-start="1180" data-end="1241"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P data-start="1248" data-end="1290"&gt;Check for App and iOS Updates&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P data-start="1293" data-end="1379"&gt;Open the App Store, search “Square Point of Sale,” and tap Update if available&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P data-start="1382" data-end="1469"&gt;Go to Settings &amp;gt; General &amp;gt; Software Update on your iPad and install any iOS updates&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P data-start="2182" data-end="2242"&gt;If you’re using Square Stand for iPad (2nd gen / USB-C):&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P data-start="2245" data-end="2303"&gt;Make sure you’re using the Square-supplied power cable&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P data-start="2306" data-end="2362"&gt;Try plugging into a different wall outlet or power strip&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;/LI&gt;

&lt;P data-start="2364" data-end="2434"&gt;Some third-party cables can charge but not support full data transfer.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P data-start="2364" data-end="2434"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P data-start="2441" data-end="2476"&gt;If none of that works try testing a different iPad (if available) to isolate whether it’s the stand or the tablet.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
