    <description>&lt;P&gt;Okay, I figured it out.&amp;nbsp; Though they show up as "Uncategorized" in the UI, in the CSV the category is "None".&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The CSV was quite big and I failed to notice this.&amp;nbsp; While it might be appropriate to use the same word for this in both the UI and in the CSV, it's not really a bug and I'm all set.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks for the response, Chip!&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Due to a mistake, we have many items that were sold in the last year that did not have a category.&amp;nbsp; I realize that I cannot retroactively fix this, but now I'm trying to do some processing on the CSV and I see that they're not there.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;When I go to the Item Sales report (sales/reports/item-sales), I can see them.&amp;nbsp; But when I download the CSV from this report, they are missing.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Is this a known issue?&amp;nbsp; Is there a work-around?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;a href="https://community.squareup.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/259684"&gt;@cbrew&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;When you say (in your second paragraph) that "&lt;SPAN&gt;When I go to the Item Sales report (sales/reports/item-sales), I can see them" are you saying that this report shows categories, but&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;that the CSV doesn't? &amp;nbsp;That would be odd, indeed, since Square has never allowed for erroneous history to be corrected, and probably never will.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I can think of one possible work-around involving downloading your current item catalog (which I assume has corrected categories, now) and your historical sales reports. &amp;nbsp;But before I explain that, it would be very helpful to see some screen shots -- especially of your sales report where "I can see them" and your CSV where "they are missing."&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
