    <description>&lt;P&gt;Setting up stand with chip reader. I’m doing the tutorial, pushed button and got orange. Then I slid the reader back into its cradle. I put in a credit card w/chip but NOTHING!? No beep or 4 green lights?!&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;At the top of the screen in your PoS app, do you have either a black bar that says "Reader Ready" or an orange bar that says "Reader Not Connected"? If there is no bar present the app isn't seeing the reader at all.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;There are troubleshooting steps &lt;A href="https://squareup.com/help/us/en/article/5673" target="_blank"&gt;in this help article&lt;/A&gt;, but the biggest thing is to make sure the reader is fully charged. Also, please note the reader will not work if your stand tablet isn't connected to the internet.&lt;/P&gt;
