    <description>&lt;P&gt;As of Sep 12, 14:50 PST, the issue has been fixed. The support reached out stating that they released an update (v6.51.1) which addresses the bug. After updating to this version, the Kiosk works as expected.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <title>Square Kiosk no discovering stand/reader after App Store update</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Today, my Square Kiosk stopped working. It says either "Kiosk Hardware not detected" or "Reader failed to connect". It happened after the Kiosk app was updated via App Store to version 6.51. I tried reinstalling the app, and it did not help.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;To test and rule out any hardware failure, I tried to install regular Square POS app and it had no issues detecting the stand and charging customers. However, no matter what I do, Square Kiosk app is not functioning. Although I have talked to support already and was told to wait a few days for resolution, I am posting here in case there are other users with similar issues or possible solutions to try.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Device: iPad Air 3rd gen&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;iOS version: 17.6.1&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Kiosk App Version: 6.51&lt;/P&gt;</description>
