      <description>&lt;P&gt;There could be several reason for your magstripe reader suddenly not working:&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;UL&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Is it an older model?&amp;nbsp; Many readers that have been in use for several years can stop working.&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Have you had a recent software update on the device to which the reader is attached?&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Do you have a new device - cell phone, tablet, etc?&amp;nbsp; There may be an incompatability between it and the reader.&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Are you getting an error message when attempting to read a card, or does nothing happen?&amp;nbsp; Either way, may just need to clean the head on the reader.&lt;/LI&gt;
