So I have a reserve on my account and this is the second time it tells me that funds are to be released on a certain date and doesn’t get released, why is that?

Hey @Rayc1 Since you posted this yesterday, I first want to check to be sure it is still an issue. As I understand reserves, they should be released sometime on the date specified, but this does not mean that they are immediately transferred to your bank account. Is it possible that the funds are in your Square Balance this morning?

If not, then your only option is, of course, to get on the phone with customer support. They are the only people who have access to those sensitive parts of your account — like your money. No one can say for certain, but sometimes other factors can affect the release date (like higher than expected refunds, etc). Still, if that happened, your Reserve Dashboard in your Online Balance should show any changes.

My funds show being released today and I was told they would reflect in my square balance at the time the transaction was made which was 12:08pm cst. Are the reserve funds released to my square balance at some point on the day scheduled or by the end of day even if it’s a Saturday? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

@NAWO good question. Unfortunately, I don’t have the answer to that as far as weekends go. I suspect that the funds should at least be in your Square Balance by now (since you posted this yesterday). But I could be wrong. I’ve not had a reason to learn the way that works on weekends, yet. Do you see the funds in your balance now?

@TheRealChipA thank you so much for getting back to me so quickly. It appears reserve funds are released overnight the day scheduled to be released. I woke up this morning and the funds were in my square balance. Have a blessed day and thanks again for your help.
