My plug in mag strip reader won't plug into my new Samsung Galaxy S9. It won't go in far enough to connect.

Hi @Angie4! do you happen to have a thick case on your phone? Maybe an Otterbox? Cases can sometimes prevent readers from being fully inserted into your device. You may want to try to remove any case and then plug in the reader.

Let me know if this tip helps or if we need to look into some additional troubleshooting!

I do have an Otterbox & I did try removing it, but the reader still wouldn't go all the way in at the time. However, the next day when I tried it, it worked! No idea why. Have a big craft show this Sat & I'm taking my old phone along also, just in case 🙂

@Angie4 Weird! Well in any case, (literally... haha), I'm glad it was able to plug in!
