We recently replaced a broken iPad3 into our square stand. The "new" iPad3 is unable to upload anything higher than ios9. All the current square POS apps require ios10 or higher. Is there an older version of square POS app we can download?

Thank you for reaching out about getting access to older versions of our app. Unfortunately, you won't be able to download previous version of the Point of Sale app for your iPad. It would only have the newest version available.

hm...

I loaded an older version of POS on my iPad 3 with ios 12.5.7 about a month ago. i have another iPad 3 with ios 12.5.7 that i'm trying load today and i can't get past the minimum message of must have ios 14 or better to load POS. what changed in the last month?

Since Apple products are always updating their are older versions of their software that will no longer be compatible with our Apps.

To make sure you're getting the newest feature and best version of the app, I alway encourage sellers to keep their software & app up to date.
