Square not adding modifier cost to order total - losing money

Hello all, we're a small restaurant and it seems that the modifiers added to orders are not being added to the subtotal. The cost of the modifiers are set and visible, however the cost of the modifiers do not add to the final sub total.

When we look at the transaction in Square, the modifiers are there, with cost, but they are grayed out.

Any idea? This is costing us quite a bit.

Hey @jasonbrumb! Thanks for reaching out about this. It's really strange the modifiers aren't being added on. Yes, they should show as gray beneath the item sold, but the total will look like: + "Modifier name" ($2.00) underneath the item.

Do you have a screenshot of a transaction in which the modifiers aren't being added in the cost, but only in the itemized receipts? Please be sure to blur out any sensitive information for your business, yourself, or your customer when doing so. Thank you!
