I'm not sure what you mean by PIN number.

Can you be more specific or where you're having to enter a PIN?

Hey @debkaplandesign!

Are you referring to your 4 digit owner passcode? If so, please go to Square Dashboard > Account & Settings > Edit owner passcode.

Let me know if I misunderstood you or you were referring to a different kind of pin! 🌠

To locate your 4-digit passcode, please see the marked "Best Answer" from Isabelle_ in this thread:

" Go to Square Dashboard > Account & Settings > Edit owner passcode."

If by PIN number you are referring to your Owner Pass code this one can be found in your Square Dashboard under Account & Settings.

If you are talking about a different PIN number please let me know and I will gladly answer your question @Ambmobile45

THANK YOU!! I was just about to yeet two GROSSLY over priced wastes of slave labor iPads. I followed the link and I wanted to point something out to anyone else who might read this:

I used her link to make a pin. I couldn't even open the square for restaurants app on the iPad. I may not have had one in the first place, I don't know. It didn't work at first. But, after I closed down the app, shut the iPad down, waited a minute to make sure it was in a coma, then turned it back on and opened the app, the new pin works.

Again, thank you so much, Olive!! This food truck that I'm getting setup has been stressing me out to the point I'm having chest pains again. Square not wanting to work (when it was SOOOOO simple and easy for every other business I've ever used it with) was going to be the final straw. I was going to sell my house if I had to to buy my partner out and take the food truck and everything even loosely associated with it to the junk yard to sell for iron.

Hello @0ctopus !

Your best bet for changing any PINs is to do it from the web dashboard.

All PIN changes are in the Team section: Dashboard -> Team -> choose the employee you need to change

Scroll to Permissions then click Edit
