Sorry you are having connection issues, here is a list of a few things to try, hopefully one of them will correct your problem.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I know you have already tried some on the list, but I thought I would list them all just in case someone else has issues.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;1. Check Basic Requirements&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;• Ensure your phone’s Bluetooth is turned on.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;• Make sure your phone’s operating system and the Square Point of Sale app are up to date.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;• Verify the reader is charged.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;• Ensure the Square Reader is compatible with your phone.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;2. Restart Devices&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;• Restart the Square Reader:&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;• Hold the power button until the lights turn off.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;• Turn it back on by pressing the power button until the lights flash orange.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;• Restart your phone.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;3. Reconnect the Reader&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;1. Open the Square POS App.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;2. Go to Settings &amp;gt; Hardware &amp;gt; Card Readers &amp;gt; Connect a Reader.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;3. Choose Contactless + Chip Reader or the specific reader you have.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;4. Press and hold the reader’s power button until you see flashing orange lights.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;5. Follow the in-app prompts to reconnect the reader.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;4. Forget and Re-Pair Bluetooth Connection&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;• Go to your phone’s Bluetooth settings.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;• Find your Square Reader in the list of devices and tap Forget/Unpair.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;• Restart both devices and attempt to reconnect through the Square app, not Bluetooth settings directly.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;5. Update Firmware&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;• Ensure the reader firmware is updated. The Square POS app will prompt you if an update is needed during the connection process.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;6. Check for Interference&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;• Remove any wireless interference (e.g., too many Bluetooth devices nearby).&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;• Keep the Square Reader and phone within 10 feet of each other.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;7. Test with Another Device&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;• Try connecting the Square Reader to another phone or tablet to isolate whether the issue is with the reader or your phone.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;8. Reset the Square Reader&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;1. Hold the power button for 20 seconds until the lights flash red.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;2.
