I'm having trouble creating a checkout link. I keep going in circles with the checkout link page.

I choose one of the three options , fill out the information, create link, and location, which bring me back to the same page. I have check the on-line store , and marketing for my links and nothing. All I want to do is to create one link for one item. I have tried both options of selling an item and collecting a payment, with no luck. I have also tried this with two different browsers safari and Firefox.

So sorry to hear about the trouble creating your checkout links. This is an interesting one, for sure. From an outside perspective, it sounds like this is an issue stemming from browser compatibility. I appreciate you letting us know the specific browsers you tried! Give a shot to these troubleshooting steps - they may have an impact on your checkout link creation.

We would also recommend trying the process using Google Chrome - it's proven to be the most reliable venue for Square services.

I will keep an eye out for your response!

Thanks, I have downloaded Google Chrome and I experience the same thing. I dont know whats happening, but Im not creating any links.

I see that the problem with building a checkout link has been ongoing for a long time. I spent nearly 2 hours on the phone today while support tried to fix it for me. Still doesn't work tonight. The thing is though that the first time I used it it worked. The second time it did not. Then Square sent me an email with an invitation to make a link. I tried it and it worked. The next time we start all over again. It makes no sense.
