Compatible USB hubs for Square Terminal?

I just purchased the square terminal and I need to connect my barcode scanner to the terminal and I realized I need to purchase a hub. I was wondering if I can use any hub or it Has to be Square hub?

We would recommend using the Square Terminal accessory hub. Not to say that other USB hub's would not be compatible with the Square Terminal, we just cannot guarantee a full compatibility since our proprietary model is the only one that has been fully tested.

The only Hub we carry is the one you can find here.

It has 3 USB ports only.

As stated above, you could try a different hub, we just cannot guarantee full compatibility.
