Inventory Adjustment Type

I teach others how to sew, I have retail products available for them to purchase to make their own bags and such. I also make custom bags for clients from my inventory of retail products. I'd like to decrement the inventory when I manufacture a bag (multiple pieces of hardware and such come out of inventory).

Google AI suggested that: "To decrement inventory on Square when manufacturing items, navigate to the item details page in your Square Dashboard, select "Manage stock," choose the "Stock Used" option as the reason for the adjustment, and then input the quantity of the raw materials used to manufacture the item, which will automatically decrease the inventory level of those materials; you can also use the Square POS app to make similar adjustments on the go"

However, I don't have a "Stock Used" option as a reason for adjustment. What am I missing?

The "Stock Used" option might not be available in your Inventory Management settings due to differences in version or settings configuration.

Can you confirm whether you're using Square for Retail or the standard Point of Sale?
