Requesting API Feature to Import Order Number

This is an issue but probably more of a request. When my transactions from my site come to Square, it does not import the Order ID that I have customized on that site (Using Tailor Brands Infrastructure). Where is this order ID that is assigned to the transaction in Square coming from? It seems to only import the Item Description Name instead of the SKU or other details that can help me identify and pinpoint the transaction. There just seems to be a lot of room for human error. When I manually add the customer to a transaction, the only place that seems fitting to try to import my order ID is the Reference ID section. Any suggestions or advice would be most helpful.

Yeah, order numbers/IDs won't import into Square's transaction reports. The number you see in the transaction details is auto generated by Square's internal system.

Not sure of a perfect workaround. Maybe create an excel sheet to match Square's transaction ID numbers and the order numbers from Tailor Brands.

Square used to have the option for a customer to enter their order number in the notes section when making a payment but that seems to have disappeared in the past week. It's very difficult to match payments with the order without this key feature.
