Power Button on Square Register not working

All of a sudden the power button on my Square Register is not working at all. It's not stuck, you can click it, but pressing it in does not do anything. A long hold does not bring up the restart screen and a few nights ago the Register got unplugged and it took the strength of mighty thor of very hard pressing for a minute to somehow get it to turn back on.

I currently can't get any reaction out of the button and I'm concerned I might need to restart the machine again and not be able to turn it on.

Has anyone else had this issue? Is there a way to clean the button out? Any other solutions?

Lol, the strength of mighty thor got me! Sorry for the frustrating experience though. Could be a defect, to be honest. I'd reach out to the Hardware Team so they can take a look. More than likely they will replace it if It's not turning on whatsoever.

I’m having same issue I just moved it to new room nothing dropped damaged or anything but it will not power on????? Did you resolve it so how?
