Cannot add a second variable amount donation item

Square used to a breeze, but lately everything is a chore. Our nonproft has a donations item to let people choose the amount. (We have other physical and digital items we sell to raise funds as well.)

We have a short-term project we'd like to get donations for. The money needs to be separate from our general donations. This project will likely last a few months.

I duplicated our variable-amount donations item and updated its name, art, and description. It does not appear on the store page and the link I copied for it leads to an error page. I have scoured the help pages and forum and have no clue what to do.

We cannot kick off this campaign if we cannot offer people a way to donate for this project.

From what you described, it looks like you correctly set it up. Since it's giving you trouble still, I am going to recommend contacting our CS Team directly. They will be able to take a deeper look and/or file a ticket with our engineers depending on the issue.

@AHSfundraising @Kassi_ Was this issue resolved? We also have the same problem. I set up a variable donation option some time ago and even though I thought it was there when first created, it's definitely not showing up now.
