      <title>Tracking subscription status via webhook.</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;DIV class=""&gt;&lt;P&gt;I am integrating with Square via API. To track the subscription status, I am using webhooks. For this, I have connected the following events: &lt;STRONG&gt;invoice.canceled, invoice.payment_made, invoice.refunded, invoice.scheduled_charge_failed, payout.failed, refund.created, subscription.updated.&lt;/STRONG&gt; Out of these events, only &lt;STRONG&gt;invoice.payment_made&lt;/STRONG&gt; is triggered. When I pause, cancel a subscription, etc., the event is not triggered. I tried connecting all available events, but the data is still not being sent.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Could you please tell me which event should be responsible for pausing, canceling a subscription, etc.? Maybe I'm doing something wrong?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;</description>

They provided the following information. (Please note: I'm just the messenger on this topic and my knowledge is limited&amp;nbsp;&lt;span class="lia-unicode-emoji" title=":grinning_face_with_sweat:"&gt;😅&lt;/span&gt;)&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;EM&gt;"If the payment was successful I'm not surprised&amp;nbsp;&lt;CODE class="c-mrkdwn__code" data-stringify-type="code"&gt;invoice.canceled&lt;/CODE&gt;,&amp;nbsp;&lt;CODE class="c-mrkdwn__code" data-stringify-type="code"&gt;invoice.refunded&lt;/CODE&gt;,&amp;nbsp;&lt;CODE class="c-mrkdwn__code" data-stringify-type="code"&gt;invoice,scheduled_charge_failed&lt;/CODE&gt;,&amp;nbsp;&lt;CODE class="c-mrkdwn__code" data-stringify-type="code"&gt;payout.failed&lt;/CODE&gt;, and&amp;nbsp;&lt;CODE class="c-mrkdwn__code" data-stringify-type="code"&gt;refund.created&lt;/CODE&gt;&amp;nbsp;weren't seen.&amp;nbsp;Cancellation should trigger a&amp;nbsp;&lt;CODE class="c-mrkdwn__code" data-stringify-type="code"&gt;subscription.updated&lt;/CODE&gt;&amp;nbsp;event, but only when it takes effect which is always the&amp;nbsp;end&amp;nbsp;of the current cycle. Pausing and resuming are supposed to fire an event as well, but again only when they take effect (which will be the end of the current cycle).&amp;nbsp;If the Seller is looking for an event which will fire immediately, the&amp;nbsp;&lt;CODE class="c-mrkdwn__code" data-stringify-type="code"&gt;subscription.updated&lt;/CODE&gt;&amp;nbsp;event will fire when any of the fields are updated, including the note, payment source, etc."&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I hope this helps, but please do let me know if you have any additional questions that I can field to engineering for you&amp;nbsp;&lt;span class="lia-unicode-emoji" title=":slightly_smiling_face:"&gt;🙂&lt;/span&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
