Saving DNS settings

I've tried changing my DNS settings multiple times, to no avail. I make the changes, it spins like it IS saving, get no error message, but none of my changes actually hold. What am missing?

Trying to change:

A record to: 23.227.38.65
Delete any other A records on the domain if there are any present.
Cname to: shops.myshopify.com

HI, what exactly are you wanting to do? Is this for a domain (.com?)

shops.myshopify.com is not something you can "change". Do you have a Shopify store and want to add the domain there?

I think I need to change these settings in square/weebly:

to the following:

A record to: 23.227.38.65
Delete any other A records on the domain if there are any present.
Cname to: shops.myshopify.com

So that it will point to my shopify site and not this square/weebly one.

I have tried that, but my DNS settings changes in Square will not save.

HI, so your domain is NOT with a third party? ex.GoDaddy? Your domain is with Square? If so, you need to contact Square and request the change.

you can try to contact Customer Support with this link. Monday to Friday, 6:00am-6:00pm PST. (Thursday & Friday are holidays)

You will get a few options to contact, click Call Us, a new browser window will open with phone number and customer code.

You must be logged into your account and is best on a laptop or desktop. Phone app sometimes displays unavailable at times.
