Happy to provide some more information on our Square Marketing E-mail collection process. I'm not quite sure on the answer for this one myself so I've reached out to our Engineers to see if they can confirm this for us.&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Does the marketing e-mail collection (where a customer at home on their computer visits our website &amp;amp; enters to subscribe to our newsletter) check the validity of the e-mail address typed? I'm having a bunch of e-mails come in invalid (ex. "gail.com" instead of gmail.com). Thanks in advance for the answer!&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;I received confirmation from our Engineering Team regarding the verification process for email addresses through&amp;nbsp;Marketing collection. They let me know that the system only checks&amp;nbsp;that&amp;nbsp;the email address is formatted as&amp;nbsp;&amp;lt;something&amp;gt;@&amp;lt;something&amp;gt;.&amp;lt;something&amp;gt;. It will not check for correct spelling, just that the fields are filled out in this format.&lt;/P&gt;
