Stuck importing inventory at 65% -Fixed

Update:

Just want to update this for anyone else having this problem in the future! Apparently I had downloaded my "existing" inventory from square and had the tax column filled out for my sample item I was testing with, so I thought to populate that for my entire inventory.

Don't do that. It will kick back the file every time.

Square Customer service is possibly one of the best I've ever had to talk to, Dalorrein was super helpful and patient with me.

Original:

I am importing 25,000 items and the excel sheet is properly formatted. It imports to 65% and then sits there.

I am using the most current version of Chrome and my internet is stable. Firefox also gets stuck at 65% and doesn't give an error code of any kind.

I emailed support (no response yet) and triple checked my excel file.

Any assistance or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Hello @PartyManiaMD and thanks for your question. I'm sorry you're having trouble importing your items. Some Sellers have reported trouble in trying to upload a too-large inventory all at once. I would try to segment your spreadsheet into smaller chunks and see how that goes. Try a few hundred first, just to see if you can get it to upload. If that works, than you could try larger pieces. I know this isn't ideal, but this has seemed to work for me in the past. The first initial upload is sometimes tricky, again because of the size. I hope this helps with your issue.

Thanks. It appears to be an issue other than file size as the columns are all labeled correctly and now it is kicking back even 10 items.

It is now at least returning an error message.
