      <description>&lt;P&gt;Why does my phone keep telling me that an app is needed for this device?&amp;nbsp; I have the square app and my chip reader has been working just fine for like 2 years.&amp;nbsp; I had the other one&amp;nbsp; replaced because I though it was broken! Turns out that the pairing is good but the chip reader will connect to the square app&lt;/P&gt;</description>
