    <description>&lt;P&gt;when i scan a e gift card bar code to check the balance it works fine. When i scan the bar code for payment it shut the register down every time. Works fine if the number is typed in, any ideas?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;thanks&lt;/P&gt;</description>
