    <description>&lt;P&gt;More of a rant than a question. Love square, but its chip reader makes me crazy.&amp;nbsp; We have two vehicles (food truck) on which we use the square chip reader linked by blue tooth to iPhones.&amp;nbsp; We have excellent cellular service so transactions process quickly.&amp;nbsp; But it seems the chip readers are designed to have a short life span, and it's getting shorter.&amp;nbsp; It seems everyone we've ever purchased starts having problems after about 6 months.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Saturday - establish the blue tooth link.&amp;nbsp; Working fine.&amp;nbsp; Then I get a text message and leave the square app to look at it.&amp;nbsp; Sometimes I need to check a new email with my iPhone or take a phone call.&amp;nbsp; Whether I'm off the square app few a few seconds, a minute or several minutes, I never know if it will reconnect.&amp;nbsp; Saturday it rarely reconnected automatically after re-opening the square app.&amp;nbsp; Sometimes I even have to "forget this device" on iPhone, or in the App, or both.&amp;nbsp; Sometimes it connects immediately without any action on my part when I re-open App.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Sunday - not only were there no problems like there were on Saturday, when I first opened the Square app it connected immediately to the reader - after more than 15 hours since last used on Saturday.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Only solution that's a guarantee to work - buy a new reader.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
