Is there a cable connected to the reader stands that you have plugged into a wall outlet or other component? This may or may not ship with a power cable, but I think the dock needs plugged in to a power source to be able to power the reader.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If the dock is getting power from a source, then it seems odd that it won't charge the actual reader. Maybe someone with experience with the dock would be able to comment here also.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I’ve purchased 2 chip reader stands and they do NOT charge the chip reader. Is there a secret to getting it to charge? If not I need a refund.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
