Is there a cable connected to the reader stands that you have plugged into a wall outlet or other component? This may or may not ship with a power cable, but I think the dock needs plugged in to a power source to be able to power the reader.</P><P>&nbsp;</P><P>If the dock is getting power from a source, then it seems odd that it won't charge the actual reader.
