Hold down the button for at least 10 seconds to see if the reader will reset.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;2.&amp;nbsp; Try a different charging brick and a different charging cord (sometimes one or both will go bad)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;3.&amp;nbsp; Leave it plugged up at least 30 mins (in case it had completely discharged).&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If none of that works then that is all you can do.&amp;nbsp; Look up square warranty returns and you can see about a warranty exchange for a new one or order a new one.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
