&lt;P&gt;Do you have another usb charger, like a phone charger that you can try plugging into the Contactless Reader? Will it charge with another cable, if so then we do need to replace the USB.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;a href="https://community.squareup.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/558628"&gt;@diet&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;Try to hold down the button to make sure the lights go orange and then red and it will reset.&amp;nbsp; If it won't light up, try another usb adapter and cord to see if it starts charging then.&amp;nbsp; If the reader is completely dead leave it on the charge for a while.&amp;nbsp; If you are using the square stand try unplugging it and then checking all your connections.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;See if any of those help you first.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
